This website provides general information about Petoe Design, trading as “Silvershoe” (previously trading as Dartmoor Silver Shoe) and the services we offer.

PETOE DESIGN DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT

  1. GDPR General Data Protection Regulation

    1. We do not share customer details with external individuals and companies outside of Petoe Design.
    2. All of the customer data held and processed by Petoe Design is strictly for the customer to supplier (Petoe Design). This data is created and processed at the customer’s request.
    3. If you contact us requesting for your data to be removed we will delete your data within 28 days from the day you contact us. In this time we will inform you what this means for you and your data which is held with Petoe Design.
    4. At any time, you are welcome to request to see your data as held by Petoe Design. Identification may be required.
    5. Website Data: we do not collect personal or individual data of persons visiting our websites unless submitted by the user

  2. What about cookies?

    1. "Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored on your computer's hard drive by your browser. Petoe Design may make use of cookies to personalise your visits to our website. Our cookies do not contain personally identifiable information. Cookies, in conjunction with our web server's log files, allow us to calculate the aggregate number of people visiting our Website and which parts of the website are most popular. This helps us gather feedback so that we can improve our Website and better serve our customers. Cookies do not allow us to gather any personal Information about you and we do not store any personal Information that you provided to us in your cookies.   3. Prices

    1. The price of precious metals fluctuate on an almost daily basis. Where the price per ounce of a particular metal increases by more than 5% in the period between Silvershoe accepting your order, and the order being completed, Silvershoe reserve the right to change the price of the goods to take account of this increase in costs and advise you prior to commencement of the order.
    2. In addition to the invoiced price of the goods you will be liable for all import duties applicable in your location.
    3. Unless otherwise stated all quoted pricing is in pounds sterling and is inclusive of VAT.

  4. Gift Certificates

    1. Only one gift certificate may be redeemed per order.
    2. Silvershoe Gift Certificates are issued by and are the property of Petoe Design whose office is at:

  5. Ordering

    1. Orders can be placed online by following the instructions on the sales pages.
    2. Full payment is required when placing the order.
    3. By submitting your order you are confirming to buy the goods at the prices and terms stated. Please ensure ALL details are correct at time of checkout.
    4. When you place an order with us, we will confirm we have received your order and indicate estimated time of delivery.
    5. By placing an order you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.
    6. Orders for bespoke products (ie silver or copper plated items) may only be cancelled prior to any work commencing. Any cancellations received after work has commenced will incur a pro-rata charge to cover the costs already incurred.
    7. Silvershoe goods are made to your specific order and Silvershoe will always endeavour to ensure that the goods requested are suitable for your needs prior to accepting an order. Silvershoe have a wide range of information on website where many similar items can be viewed prior to purchase

  6. Postage and Packaging

    1. Prices for bespoke items to be delivered to a UK mainland delivery address include the cost of delivery. You will be notified of the price of delivery to delivery addresses outside of the UK and payment will be requested from you in advance of the goods being despatched.
    2. All bespoke orders are sent via Special Delivery, which will require a signature as proof of delivery. If your order is urgent then please inform us by telephone or by email paul@silvershoe.co.uk
    3. We do not accept responsibility for late or none delivery due to factors outside our control.

Guarantee/Returns

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the standard of your item preserved in precious metal, please contact us by email at paul@silvershoe.co.uk describing what you are dissatisfied with, within 7 days of delivery and we will discuss how best to resolve the issue. This may include re-process your item at no cost to yourself.

Reports of damaged, broken or incomplete orders must be made within three days of recipet; no responsibility can be accepted after this period.

Should you be returning items you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.

Access Rights

We are entitled to charge a reasonable fee for this service.
